Ginger Original® patterns are designed for gauge and can be knit in cotton, wool, acrylic or blends in a variety of colors. All patterns have clear, complete directions and easy-to-follow diagrams. Most designs are worked in two colors only, although additional colors can be used. Knitting-in-the-round makes these designs and two-color knitting easy!

"This collection of patterns grew from the use of whales in a yoke neck sweater inspired by wonderful summer weeks on Nantucket Island. It expanded when friends in Newport wished for sailboats, and again when Florida relatives felt the porpoise had been slighted. One thing led to another -- Maine family raked blueberries; bird watching in Arizona inspired a southwest design; a first grandson prompted "Grandma's Joy"; and chick-a-dees and cardinals made their way onto Christmas sweaters and stockings.I hope these patterns give you as much pleasure as they have given me and my family.
